oh...sorry bout that...i usually don't get drunk...Tim and a few of the guys were at a party and i had just decided to tag along...
He could faintly smell the alcohol on his clothes and wished he could change. He'd already made a complete fool out of himself to this girl. Plus his clothes were all damp from sleeping in the grass all night.

He laughed softly and ran his hand through his hair.
my dad's gonna kill me. he's a general in the navy...once he finds out i'm not home in bed he'll freak. he hates Tim and the guys as it is.
He realized he was telling her a lot about his life and looked up.

"Do you think your dads up already? It's about 6 AM..." she said then looked to her house. She herself didn't get much sleep last night after that dream kept her awake. "I can help you sneak in if he's not up" she said, looking up to him.

six? nah, he's already up. i guess i'll just hang out here for a while longer before headin back.
He sighed and looked around. It was still kinda dark out.
uh, you wanna go get somethin to eat at The Dingo? it's fine if you already ate or don't wanna go...

"Well, you know I'm Dayna. I'm a greaser though I don't belong to much of a gang. I moved here not too long ago. I live with my sister who loves herself more then oxygen, and I'm pretty out-going once you get to know me" she smirked, "How's that?"

Depp flipped around and walked beside her on the sidewalk.
you pretty know the basics about me. name's Depp, moved her a year or two ago and am in the Shepard gang. i'm more of a loner, though, my dad...well, stepdad...is a General in the navy and is determined to make me just like him. he even enrolled me for when i get out of school.
He looked over at her, then continued.
we hate each other. my mom says she loves him...yeah, right...all i ever do is take orders from him and say "sir". so i've become a rebel, at least to him. joined a gang and stay out on the streets as long as i can. i doubt it'll change anything, though...
Realizing he was practically telling his lifes story, he quieted down and laughed softly.

He looked up and around, remembering how early it was and that hardly anybody was out.

She smiled warmly.
"Actually I think it's kinda cool you're step dad wants you to be something when you grow up. I don't have anyone to help me do anything when I get out of school"
Dayna said, looking down and scuffling her shoes a bit then stopped and looked back up to him

He watched his feet move across the cement.
i'm not too fond of the idea of being sent away to war...i think if my stepdad wasn't pushing me at it so much, i'd be more into it.
